Self reflection...

Upon reflection, I am pretty proud that at 22yrs old I have...
- Shot full stories for GQ, the youngest ever to do so.
- Won an AOP open award by a record majority vote in AOP open awards
- Run a production company that already counts Nike as clients

And there is some pretty big stuff in the pipeline, inc some other conde nast titles. One particular one which is most photographers goal ;)

And all this has been done...:
- without an agent
- without family or friends in the industry helping
- without creating a false image or alias
- without relying on assistants to show me how it's done
- without treading on others
- without lies
- WITH manners, respect and a smile :)

I hope the next generation of photographers can do the same, unlike like some of the young ones I have come across :p

I'm excited to work winsome INCREDIBLE people and I will of course keep you updated on here!

2012 will be my year ...and I'll do it all myself!

365 & A Reflection On The Last 365 Days...

A big thank you to all that have taken the time to check out a post or posts at some point.

For the occasions where I have been too busy to update daily, I apologise 0:)

A lot has happened in the last year. Thankfully for the better. I have worked hard, even shooting up to 10 models a day for 5 days in a row to gain strong images.

I have learned a lot and I'm enjoying continuing to learn. Despite certain peoples best efforts to make false accusations, I have impressed those that matter and the big jobs are finally starting to come in.

Thank you for the continued support from everyone. Watch this space, as many publications I have shot for will be coming out soon ;D

Also, if you havent heard, I am shooting across America this summer as part of a magazine project. I will also be available for bookings for portfolio shoots, so email me for rates....

You'll notice a running theme in my recent photos from my 365days project...

They are photos directly from the back of my camera, to show you what my work looks like.

I pride myself on having work that doesnt require much post-production. I cant recommend enough how important it is getting the shot on the day as much as possible. Otherwise it becomes a painting, not a photo :p

In my opinion, its a real shame a lot of new younger photographers resort to using 'paint' to enhance their photos. Show off your talent guys! Dont cover it up! ;D

I have a dozen fashion videos currently being worked on, so keep an eye out for them ;)
