- Shot full stories for GQ, the youngest ever to do so.
- Won an AOP open award by a record majority vote in AOP open awards
- Run a production company that already counts Nike as clients
And there is some pretty big stuff in the pipeline, inc some other conde nast titles. One particular one which is most photographers goal ;)
And all this has been done...:
- without an agent
- without family or friends in the industry helping
- without creating a false image or alias
- without relying on assistants to show me how it's done
- without treading on others
- without lies
- WITH manners, respect and a smile :)
I hope the next generation of photographers can do the same, unlike like some of the young ones I have come across :p
I'm excited to work winsome INCREDIBLE people and I will of course keep you updated on here!
2012 will be my year ...and I'll do it all myself!

You are such an inspiration! I have finally decided to go aginst my parents wishes and do what I want to & what I love. And that is photography and horse training. I am in the process of starting up both. I wish I could have got a head start and broke free and gone my own way earlier... but better late than never right?
ReplyDeleteWhat was the best steps you took to get yourself where you are now? I too, have no mentors or guides and am just looking for any helpful tips I can get. (:
Well, if you love what you are doing that will help!
ReplyDeleteJust make sure you are working hard too!
I only sleep 4hours each night so I can make the most of every hour. I am constantly networking. And I like to help people too. I find these things help me in getting where I want to be :)
